I wrote a list of goals at the beginning of 2018 and a bunch were smaller goals but then I had a few larger ones, ones I thought were just dreams. I knew I really needed to put myself out there this year to make them happen and reached out to different vendors. I thought what the heck the worst that could happen was that they would say no. But to my HUGE surprise they all agreed to make my dreams come true. Doing a helicopter photoshoot was at the top of my list! I really have to thank my amazing friend and fellow photographer Morgan for giving me the push to just go for it. I love you girl!…

Part two of Laina and Colin’s Willband Creek engagement session has to be one of my favourites from last year!! I remember leaving Cascade Falls the day before and driving home along the Mission bypass. I saw people skating on the frozen pond and I just knew I had to get them out there to do a session. I immediately messaged Laina as soon as I got home to see if her and Colin were up for one more session the next day. See, Laina and I share the same love for figure skating as we both were competitive figure skaters for years and I knew we just had to make this happen. I must mention this was the first…

Ohh man these two are the cutest couple around!! They claim to be unphotogenic but I call BS!! They were all smiles and full of cuddles the whole session and just look how gorgeous they are together. I was one happy photographer to say the least!  You could just tell they are absolutely head over heals in love with each other. The first time I met Liana and Matt at Starbucks we totally bonded over our  LOVE of  London fogs. If you haven’t had one you must try one today!! When chatting about where they wanted to do their engagement photos they mentioned their love of the outdoors, mountains and the forest. I just knew I had to take them…

Lynsey and Will’s gorgeous Abbotsford  backyard wedding at Will’s parent’s home was breathtaking! It was so intimate and laid back . All the details were so personalized and the work both their families put into transforming the backyard into a gorgeous setting was amazing! We met at the always beautiful Douglas Taylor Park for their first look and portraits. I will always remember the way Will looked at Lynsey for the first time in her gown(see below) and when Will asked Lynsey to check to see if he had anything in his teeth we all burst into laughter. I have to say I had the most fun with this group. They had me busting a gut half the time with…
